Our family has had three weddings in less than three years, March of 2012, June of 2013, and June of 2014. What a fun, crazy few years we have had. Our family has grown and we couldn't be more thrilled.
From the day our children were born we prayed for their future spouses. It's fun to see how our prayers have been answered, to see the people God placed in our children's lives. How amazing to know God answered our prayers. After years of praying, we still pray for each of them, only know we get to pray for them by name. Now they are even more to us; they are family.
The day each of our children married, they joined our family. They are now a part of us, we love Larry, Josh and Brittany like family; because they are family. Each couple is walking with the Lord and we are just so thrilled to see how God is using them. The landscape of our family has changed a lot in the past few years, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Your kids may still be young, or maybe they are grown and married, but I hope that you will take seriously the role you have in praying for them. I pray that you will allow those spouse to join your family, to see them as the answers to prayer they are!
