Our new house is only a block away from this sunflower field; which made my daughters very excited and lead to this picture being taken. I love that there is this field so close to my house. I see it every time I walk up the block to get our mail. The sunflower is a unique flower in that it follows the sun. This is what we as Christians need to do; we need to fix our eyes on Jesus; we need to follow the Son!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the flower and the message. I also love the storm brewing in the background. You can use this pic for a whole different message too!

Beautiful, Brenda! Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteAmen, very true.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! We can learn so much from God's nature :)
ReplyDeleteGreat analogy! There is a nature preserve close by where I often go to take photos (and to be inspired in my writing). Last year, we had a horrible drought here in Texas. I stopped by one day and took some photos. One that really stood out to me was a group of sunflowers, dry and withering in the heat. However, they were turned toward the west, ever reaching for the sun. Oh that we would turn toward the Son - in times of drought, in times of plenty.
