It's senior picture time, whether I'm ready for it or not, I have a senior, he's actually my last senior. My husband and I have prayed for him ever since the day we discovered we were expecting. Our prayer is that he will walk in the ways of the Lord, that he will walk in the truth, that he will praise the Lord and glorify His name forever!
Teach me your way, O LORD,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.
Psalm 86:11-12
One of my favorite prayers of King David, oh that I may have an undivided heart.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this wonderful portion of scripture along with a personal note.
ReplyDeleteHappy WFW...
A beautiful verse. I need to send that to my grandson. He starts college next week. It seems like he was just born yesterday. He's a good boy and loves God. He plays the quitar and picks out songs on the piano in his room (my husband gave it to him for his birthday last year.) Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love this verse and I am so thankful that the Lord is a patient and merciful teacher. I know I am a slow learner.
ReplyDeleteAmen! I want to walk in truth! And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom.
ReplyDeleteBless you! Happy WFW!

Amen! And I pray that God blesses your son's senior year!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo that so beautifully illustates that verse. May God bless your son and that he will always walk in God's ways.
ReplyDeleteThat's so completely perfect, you have no idea. I've been reading and the verse God keeps giving me is about having an undivided heart. Loved seeing that here, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my post. Have a great week!
