5 Minute Friday...Whole

Today is 5 minute Friday. Five minutes to write whatever comes to mind...no editing...one topic. Be sure and go to The Gypsy Mama to check out other blogs and their view on the topic for today.

Today's topic...Whole.

The whole world.

That is who needs to hear about Jesus. That is what God is waiting for. We are to "Go into all the world" to tell the whole world about Jesus.

Not all of us are called to go to a foreign country, but we are all called to share the Gospel. We can send missionaries, and support them with our money and our prayers.

...and with your blood you purchased men for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Rev. 5:9

There are still people in the world who have not heard the name of Jesus. We can not just sit back and do nothing. We need to be people of action, we need to help make sure the whole world hears. There are broken people all over the world and we need to help make sure the whole world has a chance for Jesus to make them whole again!

This map shows the area of the world called the 10/40 window. A region where 97% of the unreached people live.

  1. Yes, none of us can do it all, but all of us can do something to reach the whole world.

  2. I love this angle with "Wholeness"! So true, and sadly I don't think or pray about this enough. Thank you for sharing!!

  3. Wow, thanks for sharing the map!

You took "whole" outside of yourself and pointed to the world. God bless your heart!

  4. Love what Beth said...you took the word whole out of the micro and into the macro. Reminds me of that Casting Crowns song "Until the Whole World Hears".

  5. I love this. Our goal should be to keep sharing and praying until the whole world knows Christ. I remember an old hymn we used to sing (I'm an MK from Africa) that ended with "I will shout and sing of Christ my king, till the whole world knows."
