Just an ordinary woman...or am I?

I am just an ordinary woman. There isn't anything "special" about me. I haven't held a "real" job in about 21 years, I"ll never be America's Got Talent,  I'm not athletic, I live in a small town in the Midwest, I have three kids, one husband and two cats. On the outside I truly am just an ordinary woman...BUT...if you look more closely you will see I am extraordinary.

How could I make such a claim? I am extraordinary because of Jesus! I have the ability to tap into His strength.  All I have to do is humble myself, seek His face and call on His name. Prayer makes me extraordinary. This is something we all have access to...it is the easiest, yet sometimes the hardest thing for us to do. We may think oh that's not the important...I don't want to bother God with that...or we may think that's too big...not even God can help me now.

If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin
and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

When we call on Jesus...all things are possible. He cares about what we care about! I have a friend who recently wanted to visit her grandmother, but did not have enough money for the flight. Instead of giving up...she gave it to God...God answered! She received an envelope from someone at church with $300 inside, no name just a simple note. She had enough for the plane ticket with money to spare. God heard her prayer and made the impossible...possible.

For nothing is impossible with God.
Luke 1:37

How about you?
Are you ready to become extraordinary?
Fall on your knees in prayer.
Call on Jesus.
He can and will do amazing things!!
